These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Nocaps (the "Service"), an AI-assisted platform that helps people connect with others through compatibility matching, conversation, and verified profiles. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Nocaps. By using the Service, you confirm that you are 18 or older, that the information you provide is accurate, and that you will keep one account per person.

2. Your Account

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account. Let us know right away at nocaps1111@gmail.com if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

3. Photo Verification

Nocaps offers photo verification to help confirm that a profile's photos genuinely belong to the account holder. Verification involves submitting a selfie, which is compared automatically against your profile photos and, if needed, manually reviewed by our team. A "Verified" badge indicates that this check was completed — it is a safety signal, not a guarantee, and we cannot promise that every interaction on Nocaps is with a verified or truthful person.

4. Acceptable Use

When using Nocaps, you agree not to:

Impersonate any person, or misrepresent your identity, age, or affiliation;
Harass, threaten, or abuse other members;
Post or send unlawful, hateful, sexually explicit, or otherwise harmful content;
Solicit money, promote a business, or send spam to other members;
Use bots, scrapers, or other automated means to access the Service;
Attempt to circumvent our verification or security systems.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of the photos and content you submit. By submitting content, you grant Nocaps a license to host, store, and display that content as needed to operate the Service (for example, showing your profile photos to potential matches). You confirm you have the right to share any content you upload.

6. AI Features

Nocaps uses AI systems to power conversations with our AI Buddy and to generate compatibility scores and insights. These outputs are generated automatically, are intended as a fun and informative guide, and are not professional advice of any kind (including psychological, relationship, or medical advice).

7. Safety

Nocaps provides tools like photo verification to support a safer experience, but we cannot guarantee the identity, intentions, or conduct of any member. Use good judgment: get to know someone gradually, meet in public places, and tell a friend or family member about your plans when meeting someone new.

8. Termination

You may stop using Nocaps and request deletion of your account at any time through the app's Settings or by emailing us. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.

9. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

Nocaps is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any interactions, disputes, or harm arising between members, or for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you within the app.
