Child Safety Standards

Nocaps has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) in any form. This page describes the standards we hold ourselves to, and how we prevent, detect, and respond to CSAE on our platform.

Adults Only

Nocaps is restricted to users aged 18 and older. Every account must provide a date of birth at signup, and anyone under 18 is blocked from creating an account. This check is enforced independently on both the app and our servers, so it cannot be bypassed by modifying the app itself.

Zero Tolerance

We do not permit any content, communication, or behavior on Nocaps that sexualizes, exploits, endangers, or otherwise harms a minor. This applies to every part of the app, including profiles, photos, messages, and any AI-assisted features. Any account found to violate this standard is permanently removed, without warning.

How to Report a Concern

Every chat and profile on Nocaps has a built-in Report option, reachable directly from the conversation or profile in question. Reports are reviewed by our safety team, not an automated system alone, and reviewed reports take priority over routine moderation queues.

Our Response

When we receive a report involving suspected CSAE, we:

• Remove the offending content and suspend the associated account while we investigate
• Permanently ban confirmed violations from the platform
• Preserve relevant records to support law enforcement investigations
• Report confirmed CSAM to the appropriate regional and national authorities, as required by applicable law
